Eradicating Maternal And Infant Mortality, One Mother and Baby At A Time
Eradicating Maternal And Infant Mortality, One Mother and Baby At A Time
Since February 2020, our efforts have been focused on a fish farm that we have built from scratch, located in Winneba, Ghana. A ‘feed the hungry’ project that will change the lives of many. This farm serves to feed thousands of people every year. The fish will be sold locally, and the profits used to pay salaries, farm expenses, and keep the farm running, overall. A self-sustaining charitable venture!
Helping the Community at Large -The farm will serve the community in a variety of ways, including teaching sustainable farming, agricultural education to child and college students, and supplement the catch of the fisher men and women in the area. This ‘feed the hungry’ project will change many lives for the better.
Our farm includes a living quarters where the farm manager and farm hands will reside, a nursery, out growing tanks, and a shed for all of our supplies. We will host students, who will stay with us for periods of time. Though the farm is operational, it is not complete yet. Donate to help us check the next priority off our list!
We broke ground on the fish farm, in February, 2020! As of fall, 2022, we are operational and have started providing the children at the local orphanage as well as patients of the Winneba hospital, wish fresh fish on a monthly basis.
Thank you Empty Bowls, in Placerville, CA! Because of you, we were able to begin this incredible project! Earth's Angels continues to be the Empty Bowls international recipient.
Ashfoam generously provided us with furniture, mattresses, and bed frames for our farm house. This donation has helped us house the 3 employees who use the farm for safe, free housing.
