Hanan’s trip to Ghana was a success! While there, we donated fish to the local Winneba orphanage, where 60 children reside. We provided 200 fresh fish as well as plenty of treats, infant formula, and other food items to the children. We were greeted with smiles, dances, and warm hugs. Moving forward, we shall continue to donate 200 fish to the orphange monthly.  Our goal is to continue to add to our recipient list, so that we soon are able to donate fish to multiple organizations such as this one, on a monthly basis. We also provided 200 fish to the local Winneba clinic’s postpartum unit-12 women and their babies received a bag of supplies and 20 frozen fish each. We don’t have our smokers running yet, so we were unable to provide smoked fish-that is our goal, eventually. This too, shall be a monthly project, moving forward. 

We visited Ghana for a cultural immersion and mission trip combination. We saw the best of Accra's famous sites, and also got to work on Earth's Angels projects, such as volunteering at the Kaneshie polyclinic and Osu orphanage.
